When Hurricane Melissa tore through the western parishes in October 2025, it left devastation in its wake, homes flattened, communities flooded, and landscapes forever changed. But what the storm could not break was the spirit of the Jamaican people.
From the rubble rose a nation united. Jamaicans from every walk of life came together, hand to hand, heart to heart, to rebuild what was lost. In the face of torrential rains, powerful winds, and overwhelming destruction, we showed the world what resilience truly looks like.
Because strength is not something we learn. It is something we inherit. As we rebuild, we reflect on the iconic landscape and nature.
